Redesign Coming Soon
The past few weeks the web has been full of falling pixels, with reboots, redesigns, and realigns. So to jump on the bandwagon, here’s a sneak peek of my upcoming redesign.
Actually the design in place has always been a place holder. I put the whole site and blog together over a sleepless weekend, so I could have something to show anyone who should inquire about my portfolio. That said, a full redesign is in order. I hope to have it up sometime this month. I think this is almost exactly how it will look, but constructive criticism is always welcome.
I would have to say that your redesign still needs some work. The typefaces you have used are too large and seem to overpower the structure of the final design. The main focal point is also too big along with the smaller tabs below it. I feel that the colour scheme should remain the same as it is now. Why change something that already works?
Overall the functionality of your site is good, it is easy to follow and the navigation system is clear to the user. My only criticism is that the layout should be changed - perhaps changing the column sizing/spacing of your blogs etc.
