Things have been really chaotic this year. Three weeks ago my mother died suddenly and unexpectedly. She hadn’t been 55 a month, and had been told she was in perfect health. To make a long story short, it was genetic heart disease, which I probably have too. My family and I are doing alright thanks to all the love and support we’ve gotten from our friends. I miss my mother deeply, but am so lucky for the time I had with her, she truly was the most wonderful person I ever knew.

I’ll probably be back to posting soon, and I’ve got a redesign in the works (finally) and there will probably be a lot of talk here of my new found interest in health. Do me a favor and call your mothers, because you might not always have one.
