A New Year

The three of you that read this have probably noticed I’ve not been posting very regularly here, or in any of my usual haunts. A lot has been going on this past year, and I appreciate the nice sentiments and support I’ve received. I’m doing well, I just came back from a great trip to Toronto and feel recharged after the holidays.

It was a difficult decision but after January 26th, I’ll no longer be working at WhiteSpace Creative. WhiteSpace has definitely been the best job I’ve ever had, I work with a wonderful and caring group of people, and I’ve learned so much from all of them. It’s really hard to walk away from that, (though not so much the hour commute) but an opportunity came up that I couldn’t refuse.

As sad as I am to leave WhiteSpace, I’m excited to start my new job at American Greetings Interactive. From what I understand, I have some pretty big shoes to fill and I’m looking forward to the challenge. I’m also excited to only be driving 15 minutes to work each day. I feel good knowing I’ll be leaving WhiteSpace on a positive note, and will continue to stay in touch with them. Hopefully with the extra two hours I’ll have each day we’ll see more frequent blog postings and perhaps the redesign I’ve been putting off for a year. I’ve also been hoping to start a couple new blogs on more specific topics, but we’ll see how managing this one goes first.
