I cannot even believe how bad this was. I don’t recall the comic being a cheap Gladiator knock off. The green screen just made everything look hollow, and half the special effects were too cheesy to be taken seriously. I’ve seen sock puppets that make better wolves. There were parts where I could actually see dithering / pixels / bad blend job so someone looked like they were floating on a layer above the background. It wasn’t the stylization either, I thought Sin City pulled that off pretty well. They just did a poor job on this one, the whole movie looked like hours of Photoshop effects gone awry. And the dialogue, ugh horrendous. I can’t believe we paid $19.95 for this. We’ll definitely be taking it to Record Exchange.
