An article on giving children internet identities at birth. Doesn’t this put us one step closer to Minority Report? It got me to thinking that not very long from now, there will be young adults whose entire lives have been recorded into the history of permanent internet cache. (Like the baby whose Dad Twittered his birth.) On the other hand, from the perspective of someone who’s lost a few close family members, it would be pretty cool to have so much of your life documented and to be able to look back at those memories of your family. I can’t even imagine what it must be like now that some kids could feasibly watch their own births.
