Site Housekeeping

I did some light cleaning this evening and installed the Optimal Title plugin, the Google Sitemaps plugin, and cleaned up my archives and category pages. I still have a few kinks to iron out in categories (losing the date on remaindered links), and while the archives are substantially more organized I’d like to work on a more readable / friendlier approach. As an SEO experiment I put links to some of my categories in the sidebar. I’d like to find a way to put some of my most popular posts in the sidebar, but have yet to come up with a solution that isn’t totally tacky.

I’m hoping in the near future to rebuild the footer, because for some reason on Windows the Bluehost affiliate link displays a few pixels off. I also still haven’t figured out why the sidebar search posts the results in the sidebar. I also can’t figure out why the left and right angle brackets in my previous and next post titles aren’t contained within the anchor.
