That’ll be the day when public offices are all equipped with Apple computers. Aside from being terrible all around, one particular part of this movie left a bad taste in my mouth, the notion a senior level lawyer at a powerful firm would immediately throw herself at a handsome, young new hire. Why is it assumed in movies that if a man and a woman work together there must be some kind of romantic tension? Who is it exactly that thinks women can’t maintain an air of professionalism? I had this same complaint when I watched In the Line of Fire a few weeks ago, but I was able to take its sexism with a grain of salt because it was made in 1993.
