• A sexsomniac rapes his girlfriend’s sister. This is not the main plot of the episode.
• For kicks, two art students become 14 year old prostitutes in a Second Life knock off.
• One of them is kidnapped by online admirer “The Executioner”.
• The kidnapper, a rare book dealer, turns out to have abducted another girl 25 years before who looks exactly like the other girl’s avatar. Polygons, the resemblance is uncanny, no?
• The police are able to get assistance from the game’s creator, a handsome brit whose office is lined with a wall of flat-screen monitors. He has magical buttons that can make it day or night and show screenshots of everything that’s ever happened in the game.
• They find the original missing girl, long thought dead, because of course he’s reconstructed her whereabouts in the game, on a map topographically identical to upstate New York.
• The abandoned girl has Stockholm Syndrome but as she’s no longer 14 he wants nothing to do with her.
• Despite being rescued and in stable condition, other girl randomly dies of respiratory failure, somehow this is related to him administering tranquilizers.
