Post Thanksgiving Madness
I’ve been sitting around my house in pajamas for the last 5 days letting Twitter digests accumulate. I had the grandest ambitions of writing a month’s worth of posts in my time off, but instead I tackled the behemoth of re-tagging my music collection. I’d already gone through and done this once, but poetically my hard drive took a giant belly flop immediately afterward.
Thanksgiving was fabulous, all the food turned out wonderfully. One of my coworkers came to my last minute rescue with fresh herbs from her garden. The whole day was mostly without incident until my dogs extracted a wheel of cheese from my Stepmother’s purse and ate the entire thing. The results were unpleasant for all parties involved.
Our friends, Insurrect, had their record release show. It was pretty brutal, we saw someone leave with a face full of blood and someone else with a broken ankle. We bought a bunch of records at My Mind’s Eye the next day, and tonight we’re seeing Witchcraft. Hope everyone had a great holiday, regular posting should resume tomorrow.
