Bourbon goes high class. I think Bourbon’s always been a great, lovingly crafted drink, but terribly misunderstood. If you were to ask most people what their favorite bourbon is, they’ll tell you Jack Daniels, nevermind that it’s not a true bourbon and is to good whiskey what Heineken is to good beer. With the recent prevalence of small batch bourbons by prominent distilleries (You can now get Jim Beam’s Knob Creek at just about any liquor store.) I’m hoping to see a renewed interest in the beverage.

Never been much of a whiskey drinker, so I wouldn’t know what a good bourbon was. Thanks for the link. I’m assuming you’re saying Knob Creek is your preference?
Oh no, I don’t know that I’d say it’s my preference. I’ll explain:
I’m mostly a single malt lady, so I don’t frequently drink bourbon though I enjoy it. I’ve only recently started drinking small batch bourbons since they are now very popular and easy to come across. I used Knob Creek as an example because it’s a small batch, and I see it in most bars and liquor stores. In my opinion it’s a great bourbon and will only run you a few dollars more than Maker’s, so I keep a bottle at home. But as I haven’t tried a lot of small batch bourbon’s I’m not really qualified to compare it to another
I see you’re from Cleveland, when I was recently at The Pub in Rocky River they had a good selection of small batch bourbons and you can order a sampler of any three. If you were looking to try some different kinds I’d recommend starting there.
Awesome. Thx!
