Oh no, I don't know that I'd say it's my preference. I'll explain:

I'm mostly a single malt lady, so I don't frequently drink bourbon though I enjoy it. I've only recently started drinking small batch bourbons since they are now very popular and easy to come across. I used Knob Creek as an example because it's a small batch, and I see it in most bars and liquor stores. In my opinion it's a great bourbon and will only run you a few dollars more than Maker's, so I keep a bottle at home. But as I haven't tried a lot of small batch bourbon's I'm not really qualified to compare it to another :)

I see you're from Cleveland, when I was recently at The Pub in Rocky River they had a good selection of small batch bourbons and you can order a sampler of any three. If you were looking to try some different kinds I'd recommend starting there.

Never been much of a whiskey drinker, so I wouldn't know what a good bourbon was. Thanks for the link. I'm assuming you're saying Knob Creek is your preference?
