Hand Made Cards

Over the past few months Alana and I have been receiving some beautiful hand made cards from our friends. While my employer has many wonderful cards, all available to me at a generous discount, sometimes one prefers a card with a more personal touch. The illustrator in me has a soft spot for any great drawing, so these have been like getting mini-prints in the mail.
When a friend and I stopped by Bazaar Bizarre this weekend, I was pleasantly surprised to find Oddball Press. Just that very morning we got one of their cards in the mail and I’d been wondering where I could find them. I scooped up a 6-pack of their Owl holiday card, for $18.
Unfortunately, while Oddball Press resides in Cleveland, it appears the only place in Ohio to purchase their wares is in Columbus. There isn’t a store on their website, I don’t know if you can write to them to place an order. (*Cough* Dear Oddball, I happen to know a designer who can hook you up with a great site where you can sell your stuff. I bet she’d even do it in trade for letterpress lessons.)
A few of the recent cards have been from Hello Lucky, who also do custom letterpress and stationary. Obviously, we like the tattoo cards.
All of this reminds me how I really want to learn letterpress. Perhaps I can take a class at CIA?
