Alana Interviewed by Cleveland Scene

Wherein they spell my lovely girlfriend’s name wrong, after she spelled it for them twice. Read about HIV and tattooing and piercing here.

We cannot refuse someone services based on whether they have HIV. We are trained to deal with blood born[sic] pathogens, we are trained on how we can prevent them from spreading, and our job is to treat everyone like they have [HIV].

Also of note, in a most underhanded way this unpersonable “reporter” failed to mention the incident in question was with Alana’s company. Perhaps that’s why she writes for online Scene and not a real paper. Apparently online Scene doesn’t use editors either to check spelling for words like cannot and blood borne.
