Future Media Standards & Guidelines from the BBC. I particularly appreciated this point:

1.1.2. If a user does not have the correct plug-in to access the enhanced content, or cannot easily access the content because they are using assistive technologies (such as screen readers) or Betsie to view the site, this should not detract from the user accessing the core content of the website.

Good point to make. It is essential that no matter what a user has installed - whether it be flash plug-ins or various readers, the main content of the website i.e the text and navigation should be the key elements that allow a user to see what is being displayed. No matter what the design, if the basics are not there, then a site will simple not work to it’s best.

I admire the time and effort you put into your blog. I wish I had the same drive :)
