Every week Typesites showcases a site with, you guessed it, great typography. I hope he’ll get some sites on here that haven’t been around the design showcase block a million times, but great idea.

In terms of design, typography plays a huge part in what a final website will look like. Using the wrong type, size, style or even colour can make or break a website. As a designer myself, I tend to use a font that will benefit a design and keep it looking simple. I think that once you use a mixture of styles, it can become fussy and detract from the other elements of the website such as imagery, backgrounds and applications. The key is to think of your target audience and how would you feel if you were a user, viewing it for the first time?
